The Capacity Building and Skill Development Training programs in Handloom Weaving, Embroidery, Tailoring, Textile Printing, etc... enabling many to start small businesses or join local units. These initiatives focused on practical skill-to-income transitions, especially for women and marginalized communities. While formal placement systems weren’t outlined, the programs effectively supported sustainable livelihoods and self-employment.
At SBST, we believe in empowering artisians not just with skills, but with real opportunities to showcase and sell their creations. Through exhibitions and trade fairs, we provide platforms where women entrepreneurs, SHGs, and rural artisians can directly connect with customers and buyers. These events support live selling, promote traditional crafts, and build visibility for grassroots talent.
We recognize that skill development alone isn’t enough. To make a lasting impact, we actively help our trained women, artisians, and SHG groups turn their skills into sustainable livelihoods. Our market linkage initiatives bridge the gap between local creators and real customers—opening doors to shops, exhibitions, bulk buyers, and institutional partners.
